If you're buying out your lease, check what's left of the factory warranty.
Some coverage may still be active depending on your car's age and mileage. Find out exactly what's covered and when it ends. That tells you how much repair risk you're taking on.
You'll probably be offered an extended warranty or service contract too. Those are optional. Read what's covered, what's excluded, and the real price. Some people like the peace of mind. Others would rather save the money. Either way, it's your choice, not a requirement.
